Maryenne, I expect you are enjoying Thomas right now. I hope your flights were smooth. What's the weather like there in Buffalo? I understand they have a LOT of snow.

Lynn, are you settling back in at home? I love to travel, but I also always love to get back home.

Esther, so glad you're going to spend some time in San Diego! I love that city, and the weather should be great for you. I assume you'll be visiting the friend you went on the cruise with last year. Enjoy!

There's no news here. It's still very cold. It was 8 when I got up this morning at 7:00 and only supposed to go up to 19 today. Thankfully though next week the arctic weather is supposed to move out, and by Thursday they're predicting we'll get up to 61. This weather pattern is insane!

I had a conversation with someone in the business office of the nursing home who says he will take care of the Medicaid application for Donald.
I am very relieved. I just have to gather the guardianship paperwork and send them copies.

Today we will have book group at DS ‘ house.

The side streets and driveway are icy and slippery. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last bitter cold day. It will be a relief when it warms up a little.

Joyce, I am catching up on laundry. It’s a never ending chore, but I don’t mind it. Spring semester starts Monday, I meet with my student teachers Tuesday and my other class of new teacher candidates on Tuesday. Stay warm!

Maryenne, happy birthday to Thomas!

We had routine blood work this morning and then stopped by Wal Mart for a few things. Home now. Finishing laundry and will make some pasta fagiole- basically a bean and pasta soup. I love soup in the cold weather.
