Good morning!
Esther, I am so glad that someone from the NH is going to help you with Don's Medicaid application. That must be a huge relief to you. Hope you enjoyed the book club meeting yesterday.
Lynn, your soup sounds so good! That's one of my favorites as well. DH laughs at me because I think of soup as a cold weather food. Where he grew up in Eastern Europe some sort of soup was eaten everyday, but to me soup just says "cold weather." There's really nothing better on a cold winter day. It's definitely a comfort food.
Maryenne, Happy Birthday to Thomas! Hope you are having a wonderful visit with him as well as his mom and dad.
It's still very cold here. It was 6 when I got up, but has gone up to 10. The weather forecast is that we will actually get above freezing today with 33. I hope that's true, and then we are to begin a steadily warming trend. I can hardly wait! This is definitely not my kind of weather. Tomorrow morning early I will be taking DH for his oral surgery which was rescheduled from Friday. He's anxious to get that over with. We have nothing planned for today, but next week should be fairly full as we have his appointment tomorrow, then on Tuesday I have a haircut, and on Wednesday I get the results from my biopsies. Tomorrow will be only the second time I have been out of the house since this frigid cold and snow/ice started.
Enjoy your day. Wishing you sunshine and warm weather!

Good morning!
It is supposed to slowly warm up here this week. I am glad since I have two classes at the university this week.
Joyce, Sending wishes for a successful oral surgery for Nick. And positive thoughts for your biopsy results.
I am throwing a pot roast in the slow cooker in a little bit before heading out for some errands. dinner will be ready and the =house will smell great! The soup was delicious. I can eat soup every day, but making it is something I love to do on cold days. This week I have a hair cut tomorrow, meet with my student teachers late in the afternoon, a manicure Wednesday and meeting my other class as well as a routine physical Thursday The lab work was good, no concerns. My calcium was in “normal” range for the first time in a long time. Yay! We will go to the Berkshires Thursday or Friday.
Esther, I am glad the NH has someone to help with the paperwork for Don.
Maryenne, enjoy your birthday visit with Thomas and his parents.
Have a peaceful day. Lynn
