Good afternoon!
Just briefly checking in to say hello. We got home from Nick's oral surgery about 9:30, and he's been asleep ever since. I expect it will be that way pretty much all day. They took out two teeth -- the top upper back ones on each side. He's doing fine, but that takes a lot out of you so I expect he will be pretty tired all week. I know when I had oral surgery a few weeks ago I was surprised at just how weak and utterly exhausted I was for days afterward.
We are above freezing and going to stay that way for awhile. Yay!! There's still quite a lot of ice on the streets, but the main thoroughfares are pretty clear. Schools are still out today. The ice should be gone soon though with our warming temperatures. Temperatures should go up steadily for the next few days, and by Thursday hit 60 although starting this evening we're supposed to get a lot of rain. That, however, will also help to get things melted.
