Good morning friends,
Not much to report. I'll be tutoring at 10 out at East Side library and then my TOEFL group in the afternoon at the downtown library. My morning student, who I was also tutoring on Wednesdays, has enrolled in the county adult ed GED program, which is Mon-Thurs, so I will only work with her on Fridays. That gives me Wednesdays free. Yay! I've also resigned from the Refuge board. Just trying to sort out my priorities and give myself a little space.
Esther, hope you're having a wonderful trip!!! Joyce, hope you continue with some better weather. Lynn, hope you have a spectacular Valentine's Day display!

Good morning! maryenne , good news on the HVAC fan! Nice that your Wednesdays have freed up. This will help you give you some space as well as resigning from the Refuge board. Hugs and good thoughts go to you. I think of you every day. The window looks quite nice. After the 14th we’ll change it over to St. Patrick’s Day and then after that a spring/Easter theme. It’s like keeping up with a classroom bulletin board- LOL I see that San Diego is getting some rain, I hope it doesn’t spoil Esther’s vacation. Waving at Joyce and sending wishes to all for a peaceful day. Lynn

Good afternoon!
Maryenne, I think that's wise to give yourself some time. Sometimes we get so involved in outside activities, that there's just no time left over for ourselves. You made a good choice.
Lynn, I bet your window displays are lovely. Wish we could all see them.
Esther, I hope you are enjoying San Diego and that the rain is not spoiling your trip. California goes so long without rain, but when it comes it really pours sometimes.
It is another beautiful day here, and I'm hoping that Punxsutawney Phil got it right with his prediction of an early spring. We got out today and drove to a large antique mall about an hour away. It's fun to browse, but we didn't find anything at all that interested us. We also tried out a small diner there for lunch which I had heard good things about. We'd tried to go to it once before when we went to the antique mall there, but it was packed so we didn't wait. This time we got there before it got too crowded. The food was good, and it was a typical 1950s diner with lots of records displayed along with pictures of entertainers from that era and cars from the 50s and early 60s--a cute place. We'll go back next time we're in town there.
