Hello friends. Maryenne - thanks for setting this up. I am 77 and just getting around to retiring. My goal is the end of October.

I am just testing to see if I am able to post to this forum. I am over 65 but not exactly working right now. I am finishing up my last two General Ed classes required for my degree in Graphic Communications. I have been able to find enough personal projects to keep me busy using my new skills. Just not so sure where I want to head from here.

Hi, everybody. I turned 61 in February and retired at the end of that month. I planned to retire next February, but my employer decided to offer an enhanced retirement package and I was one of the lucky recipients. I am still working, though, at my second career of petsitter/dog walker.

Hi, I'm Gail, I'm 61.5 and plan to retire at 65 at the latest and I'm definitely looking forward to it. On the WW boards I was only on the GDT.

Oh, I forgot to mention that today was the 40th anniversary of the day I started my first full-time job after college.

Hi... I'm in Chicago, 64 and a retired teacher who works 25 hours/week for my union. I've been a weight watcher for years. Lost 75 lbs and couldn't get the other 35 or so I needed. Actually gained a bit back but am almost done re-losing that. I am married, two grown daughters. One just got her PhD this summer and the other is getting married in a couple of weeks. I post on the Binge Enders' Challenge on the Out of Control Board. We are investigating alternatives and that is how I came across you guys. I was intrigued by our similarity of life stage.
