Good morning!
It's rainy here and will be all day. I'm going to get nails done at 11 and then will stop for something for dinner...salmon maybe? Someone on the morning thread mentioned a pan dish with salmon, new potatoes, broccoli. Sounds good!
DH will spend the weekend slowly getting ready to drive to Key Largo. I learned last night not to make any suggestions ("Do you want me to look for a hotel room?" Apparently not!) So he's on his own. His friend has metastatic lung cancer and it's not clear how long he may have. I'm glad DH is going.
Hugs to you all and happy Saturday!

Good morning!
Maryenne, that salmon dish does sound good. I love salmon, and it's so healthy. Sorry about your husband's friend.
Waving to Lynn and Eshter!
It's in the 20s here this morning and only going to upper 30s today, but it is at least sunny which definitely helps. Tomorrow it begins to warm, and by Wednesday we'll be back to 70. Yo-yo weather season has begun! I bought a new office chair for myself at Office Depot yesterday, and I am having them put it together. DH doesn't need to be trying to get up and down off the floor, and they only charge $15 to put it together. So we'll pick that up today. Not sure what else we might do. Just had to call the HVAC company for one of our tenants who says her heat won't come on. Just recently we had a new heat exchanger and fan motor put in there, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. We have another house where we just had to do some plumbing work this week, and ordered a new cook top yesterday for still another one. It always seems that when there is an issue at one, there will be an issue at others--for some reason it usually seems to come in threes. Maybe this one will be the last for awhile. Fingers crossed. We do keep money set aside for repairs as nothing is ever cheap. Our rentals are all nice and in nice neighborhoods, but they were built in the 60s so repairs are inevitable. We keep them well maintained, but sometimes that can keep us busy. Our son-in-law will be on call for them while we are traveling, but hopefully there won't be any issues. I tell the tenants that unless it is an emergency that can't wait, to wait until we are back in town and we'll deal with any issues as soon as we return.
Wishing you each a happy, sunny day!
