Over 60 and still working/ Sunday

Good morning! 

I didn’t get here yesterday. We had a busy day of errands and then the “soft” opening of our friend’s restaurant with the new chef. Amazing delicious food. I had Greek meatballs for an appetizer and then halibut for my main meal. OMG delicious! 

Safe travels to your DH maryenne. This is a hard trip for him. 

Joyce, when do you leave for your cruise? It’s nice that you have DSiL to back you up with the rentals when you are away. 

I think Esther has a busy weekend. 

Just some laundry to do before brunch with friends. It’s sunny and cold, but we’ll take the sunny. The ski areas have been able to make some snow and this is school vacation week, so the area businesses will do well.

Good morning,

A little kerfuffle this morning - the card DH was going to use for his trip got scammed, so they've locked it. It's ok, we've got other cards he can use, just not something we wanted to do today. He's pretty much ready to go, but he'll piddle around and it will be another few hours.

I made a delicious sheet pan dinner last night with salmon, new potatoes, green beans, and those tiny tomatoes. Wow, it was great. And, there are leftovers!

It's overcast and a little cool here. I don't plan to go out.

Lynn, your dinner last night sounds delicious. I love Greek food! You asked when we leave on our cruise, and we don't fly out until April 4 boarding on the 5th, so we still have a few weeks before we go. Enjoy your week off from school this week.

Maryenne, sorry your DH has frustration even before leaving for what must be an emotional trip for him. How did you season your sheet pan dinner, and what temperature and time did you cook it? That sounds very good.

Esther, I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

It's cold here, and when I got up a little after 7 was only 21 degrees, but today it is warming up and we have sunshine. By mid week we'll be very warm again, so not complaining. We don't have anything special planned for today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
