Good morning and happy Thursday!
I had a really good day yesterday and hope the same for today. My therapist suggested that I might want to meet with her every other week now instead of every week. We'll see how this week goes and discuss next Wednesday. I got a letter yesterday that my rheumatologist is closing his practice. I saw the former guy for years before he retired and I've only seen this guy once. I always see the PA. So not sure what I'll need to do. I'll call them when they open at 8:30.
Nothing planned for today other than Zoom Yoga at 9:30.
Hope you have a good day!

Good morning! You had a very productive day yesterday maryenne . I hope you can find another rheumatologist or follow the PSA if he/she is going to another practice. I love my rheumatologist, she is so kind and listens to me. I had a “productive” day yesterday. The dermatologist visit went well- nothing burned off or found to be problematic. It’s the first time in a while. Then a trip to BJ’s warehouse store for cleaning supplies, paper products. We got out of there with no unplanned purchases and got gas for $ 2.70 a gallon! I put up my little garden flag - a shamrock and put a shamrock door decoration on the back door. That’s it for my Martha Stewart moments- LOL. Today we are headed to our favorite winery in nearby Connecticut, Our best friends are going with us and we’ll stop for lunch to bring with us, After we will go to our favorite grocery store- best butcher shop and lots of Italian specialties. Last night we started watching Resident Alien on Netflix. It’s like X Files meets Northern Exposure and Cowboys versus Aliens got together and made a series. I totally love it! It’s my kind of quirky show. maryenne , sending virtual hugs for your DH. What a loving and hard visit he is having. Waving to Esther and Joyce Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Good morning everyone! Maryenne, good luck finding a new rheumatologist! Changing doctors is never easy. Lynn, your day sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy the time with your friends as well as the winery. Esther, hope all is well with you and wishing you a good day. It's gloomy here and we are expecting rain and possibly even thunderstorms. So it looks like it will be a stay inside kind of day. Yesterday the Mediterranean restaurant we went to was good--at least I thought it was good, Nick was not as fond of it as I was. Next time maybe he'll try a different dish. He did love the desserts. I hope they will do well. It's small and family owned, so you just have to root for them to make a success of it. I had a piece of baklava which was very good, and closer to the way my sister-in-law makes it without a lot of sticky honey. I told our waiter, a young man from Jordan, that it was delicious. He said, "My mama made it!" The lady I assumed to be his mother was behind the counter smiling and nodding, so her English may be limited. Anyway wishing them lots of success!

I sent a message to my primary care doctor who responded very quickly with two choices of who he could refer me to. One of them doesn't have a good reputation, so of course I picked the other one. Hopefully the referral will happen quickly.
