Good morning friends!
I have Zoom yoga today and then a manicure later this afternoon. While I'm out, I'll tend to my post office business that I've been putting off all week.
I had a good session with my therapist and we decided to skip the next two weeks. When we meet again on March 20, we'll probably say goodbye. I think she's ready to retire for good - she's only seeing two patients now. She has been the right therapist for me since John passed and I'll miss her, but I think I'm ready.
Hope you all have a good day!

Good morning!
Maryenne, good news that you are feeling emotionally stronger, and I'm sure you've learned some good coping skills. Seeing a therapist was a wise idea.
Lynn, wondering if you had enough snow to cancel your school visit for today.
Esther, waving to you.
It feels like winter again here, and was only 30 when I got up this morning. It is supposed to get up to 50 today, so that's not so bad. Still it's a big change from the 80 we hit just a few days ago.
Yesterday we did get out of the house just to change up the daily routine. We went and browsed a couple of local antique stores, but we didn't find anything. I did see a lovely chest that I really liked, but I have no where to put it so I just admired it in the store and left it there. Even this morning I've still been trying to think where I could put it, but it just won't work for me.
Today I plan to finish DD & DSIL's taxes. They sold a rental property last year, and with the way real estate has shot up in value the capital gains taxes are hitting them hard. They knew to expect to pay capital gains, but still I hate telling them they owe. It must be the "mother hen" in me wanting to make things perfect for my "chick." If it was us having to pay that capital gains tax I wouldn't blink an eye, but for them I have spent the entire night trying to think of a way to keep it from being such a big hit. Sadly, I haven't been successful so it just is what it is.
Hope you each have a sunny day!

Hello friends
We suddenly have very cold and very windy weather today. The chimney end in my living room keeps falling out on the floor. I finally stopped replacing it until the weather changes. We haven’t had snow today. Have you had any, Lynn?
Joyce I know how you feel when you r children owe taxes. My DGS was laid off during the year and didn’t have health insurance for a while. He had to pay a big fine to the state. I’m glad the feds don’t require it any more. At least he got a refund on his federal return.
Maryenne Congrats on knowing when to start and stop therapy. I’m sure it was helpful for you after the blow of John’s loss.

Good evening! Busy day here- I had a school visit and then two observation reports to write up. All done! DGD and her best friend are joining us for breakfast for dinner tonight. Waffles (frozen), quiche, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast- something for everyone! maryenne , I am glad you have an “exit” plan for therapy. Your confidence in her and yourself are a testament to her work. nashville11 , we never stop worrying about our family! 1kflute , it has been cold but sunny here today. No snow- thank goodness! Have a peaceful evening. Lynn
