I have Zoom Yoga in a few minutes and a hair appointment at 1. DH got back around 9 last night, ate some soup, and went right to bed. Hopefully, this is the end of his care-taking travels for a while.

Good morning!
It looks like rain here, but at least it's warm. Trees are starting to bloom, and the daffodils and forsythia is blooming so it definitely looks like spring. Other than the one big for us snow, it's been a very mild winter. We're starting to put some thought into landscaping. We're planning to redo the patio beds in the back in addition to some in the front. Since neither of us know much about plants, I'm trying to do some research into what we want to plant. We definitely want things that are hardy and take minimal care.

nashville11 , Is there a master gardener’s program affiliated with a local university or college? They are a huge resource for information about such things. We had one window guy come out and gave us a quote to replace our picture window. We have a second contractor coming by Tuesday for an estimate. That was our excitement for the day. I did get some university work done today. And they sent me my schedule for the fall. we are just approaching mid-semester right now. maryenne , glad DH is home now. He has put in a lot of seat time in his vehicle!
