Yesterday's expected rain didn't arrive until last night, and today it is dark and raining. So it is definitely an inside kind of day. I can always find plenty to do to keep me busy here.
Yesterday I went through clothes trying to decide what to take on our long cruise that's coming up. It's so easy to take too much, and I don't want to overpack but it's hard not to do that. Today is our youngest grandson's 8th birthday. We're going up to Nashville to see him on Sunday, and while there I hope to also do some shopping. I really need some new pants, and it is pointless for me to try and order online because most often even the petite short ones are too long for me and I don't want anything that has to be hemmed. Clothes shopping here in my area has really gone downhill. There are some nice boutique type stores, but they usually don't carry things for short people. Maybe I'll get lucky in Nashville. At least they'll have more of a selection.
