Over 60 and still working/ Tuesday

Happy Spring dear friends! 

We had a lovely drive back to RI yesterday. 

Our kids surprised us with a golf cart as early Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and Anniversary gift. We live in the middle of 30+ acres of mostly wooded property with a 1,000 foot driveway to the main road. I was speechless, since I have wanted one for a while. DD2 lives next door and DS moved in with us a few months ago. They had DD1 from Texas on Face Time to see our reaction last night when they had us come outside to see why there was loud music playing! I am still stunned. A driving lesson is on the agenda for today! And now I understand why DS cleaned and re-organized the barn. 

 DH has to drop off his truck for routine maintenance, then we’ll go to the dollar store, go for coffeee and I’ll get a manicure. Card league tonight.

Waving to Maryenne and Esther.

It's cold today here, so it doesn't seem very spring like even though the sun is shining. Fortunately, it begins warming back up today so the cold is not going to last long. I have some errands to run today, but that's the only thing on my agenda. I've been having some problems with my left knee so I started wearing a knee brace on it yesterday, and that along with ibuprofen is helping. I don't think I did anything to it, so I expect it's just an age thing.

mooselady12, what a fantastic gift! A lot of people around us have carts, but DH and I have decided we don't really need one as our property is not that big. Half of it is woods.

Nothing much happening here. I'm having a lazy day...some clothes in the wash is about all. DH is going to drive to Georgia to buy something or other.
