Good morning! Finally closing in on Friday. Feels like Thursday has taken awhile to get here. Yesterday was pretty quick though. I think the client lunch was less than 2 hours so that's on the shorter side for those things, and then shortly after I got back I had a call that dragged on way too long. Today should be quieter, and I'm at home. Cam said the guy who came by to check on the stove yesterday seemed a little shady and barely looked at it and changed the price for the initial visit so he wants to get another opinion. I personally just want to get it replaced (the crack is huge so there's no chance it can be repaired) and be done with it and the price still seemed to be about what I expected. It's going to be super annoying not being able to use the stove until it's replaced so I'd pay more just to get it done quickly! The guy coming today to look at the tub does some general handyman work so may ask him to take a look but otherwise would like to just order/schedule it since it likely won't come in until after we leave for Japan.
Not much else going on. Since I do have some food I was planning to use up to cook a couple more dinners before we leave, I may go make dinner at my friend's place tonight since he's only a few blocks away. We also have a bunch of restaurant gift cards from the holidays and wedding so maybe we'll use one of those this weekend too.
A: Peloton.. 40 min cardio HIIT, 20 min full body strength
B: "fried" egg (in the microwave) with avocado on 2 slices light whole wheat toast
S: banana with peanut butter
L: leftover crockpot enchilada quinoa
S: blueberries
D: I think I'll make this Sicilian lentil pasta tonight, my friend said we're more than welcome over there and of course he and his boyfriend can have some. It will just drive me insane to not cook at all for the next few days! I don't know how we'll ever survive redoing our kitchen at some point.
