Good morning,
Nothing much to report today. Work is slow right now. I asked DH if he felt up to having cousins over for Thanksgiving and he's mulling it over. My sister always does holidays with her inlaws. So not sure still what we'll do.
Hope you all have a peaceful day - Joyce, I'm glad your parents are able to spend time together and you get a little time to yourself.

Good morning all,
Our meeting with the builder was interesting. After we had lunch we went to two of his spec houses and looked at a couple of lots. We like both of these homes but would like to put the guest side of one house together with the main and master side of the other house. My fear would be the bottom line financially as DH would like a three car garage as well as a den in addition to three bedrooms. Lots of talking to come.
Today we are having an appraisal on our current home, furnace winter check, as well as the foundation crack check. DH will be responsible for these as I am having lunch with BFF. I started cleaning up the Christmas Village storage area as well as my craft but need to get the vacuum going in both areas. I am pitching stuff unused stuff as I go too.
Time for a second cup of coffee. Wishing everyone a peaceful sun filled Thursday!

Good morning all. We are off to do some shopping at the outlets. I have a small list. Maryenne, slow work days can be a double-edged sword. Time can crawl. I used to use slow days to catch up on paperwork. Peg, your house plans sound very interesting. It is fun to to put all the wishes together and see the outcome. We built our present home forty years ago. We were able to renovate a couple of years ago to reflect our current lifestyle. Enjoy the process! Have a great day everyone. Lynn

Good morning!
House plans, shopping, and slow time sound good. I expect everyone is also making Thanksgiving plans. I had planned to have a small Thanksgiving dinner for step-son #2 and family, a cousin who is going through a divorce, etc. But since this happened with my dad asked them to give me a rain check instead. We'll have a celebration when my dad gets home from rehab, which I don't think will be too long from now because he is visibly gaining strength each day.
Today the rehab center is having a Thanksgiving lunch for patients and families. That doesn't sound like it would normally be something that my dad would care for, but it turns out he wants to participate (a good thing!). DH is out of town for the day, but my mom and I will go and participate with my dad. I'm not sure how I'll manage 2 wheel chairs, but I'm sure one of the techs will help me push one. I'm glad my dad wants to do this. It's another good sign.
Physical therapy is coming for my mom this morning. That's going to push us getting ready for the luncheon, but I didn't want to cancel because my mom really needs the therapy so we'll work it out.
Have a lovely day everyone!
