Good morning all,
It's tutoring day for me. I will meet my one-on-one student at the East Side library at 10 and help her with her Adult Ed homework. Then at 1, I'll be at the downtown library for conversation and pronunciation for whoever shows up. In between, I'll grab some lunch.
I had a great lunch with Suzanne yesterday. We talked about an overnight trip to the outlet mall near St. Augustine. No date set. Late afternoon, our Kenmore microwave oven died after 30 years! We bought it at Sears in 1995! So DH and I went to Walmart last night and bought a Toshiba. It was the one that is most like our old one although it takes up more room on the counter. DH got a call last night about the Celebration of Life for his friend in Key Largo on April 28. He'll have to change a dermatology appointment to be able to go, but I think he should.

Good morning! I made the decision last night that I am only supervising student teachers in the spring next year. I teach another low level intro course both semesters, but I will be dropping those. I will let my supervisor know next week after I meet with my students for their last class. I want to spend more time doing stuff with DH and this low level class is sucking my time and energy. Glad the decision is made, I feel a little lighter. We are heading up to the Berkshires for the weekend, I just want to relax. maryenne , I am sorry about DH’s friend. 30 years is a long time for a microwave! The newer ones are built like they used to be, but they have some additional features. We are doing a major purge of stuff in the house. Getting ready to have some paneling replaced, then refinishing the wood floors. And why not re-do the kitchen while we are at it? DH and I have been going through closets and bookcases so far. What a lot of stuff we have accumulated! From one bookcase alone we had five boxes of books to donate to our library’s book sale. Waving to Joyce and Esther! Have a wonderful day. Lynn |

mooselady12, I understand that feeling of relief! I felt it after I resigned from the Refuge Board and I don't regret it one bit.
