Good morning! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was good & busier than usual. Took care of a few things around the house Saturday morning, and then Erin came over around 2. James dropped us off downtown; We had lunch and then went to the cider place for a tasting flight, then to another bar. From there we took an Uber to BJ's brewhouse for sparkling sangria & a pizookie for dessert. Cody came to pick us up from there and we didn't get back to my house until 11!
Yesterday, I slept in a bit and then did things around the house like cleaned out a cabinet that needed reorganized, took care of Gumdrop's cage. Also started some buffalo chicken in the crock pot just so it's available for the week (the guys LOVE it). I wasn't planning to go anywhere but Cody asked to go for a ride to visit a friend at work and said he'd go for a walk with me. We did a little shopping, stopped at SweetFrog for FroYo and then went to the river for a walk. It was beautiful but there were little bugs flying all around that got annoying at times, maybe because it was dusk? I picked up sushi to bring home for dinner since we were near a couple good places. There's no good sushi super close to home. By the time we got back it was already 9pm! I had placed a grocery pickup order so James got that for me.
Today I'm in the office. I know Cody's working tonight but don't have Brandon's schedule for the week, yet. If Brandon's around, I'll go ahead & make mac & cheese to go with the buffalo chicken. If he's working, I'll fix something else for just James and I. I'm thinking I'll work out from home today and then hit the gym tomorrow before I meet friends for dinner. It's a busy week with plans Tuesday & Wednesday and then I'm driving to the eastern shore Friday to visit Darlene.
Have a great Monday!
B: Dannon light & fit Greek, LO 1/2 iced Sbx S: blueberries & almonds L: LO sushi D: If I make mac & cheese for the guys I will heat up LO pork to go with mine, if both kids are working I'll make french dip cupcakes & veggies Exercise: walk & mixxedfit at home

Good morning! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was mostly pretty relaxing- maybe too relaxing on Friday afternoon/evening as I took a "nap" at 4:30 and didn't wake up until 8! Oops. Same with Cam. So much for his alarm. Definitely didn't help with getting re-acclimated, and we were both up at 4:30 am again on Saturday. The only plus to that was feeling like I had a very long Saturday! By 6:30 I had already eaten breakfast, read, and straightened up a bit, so I ended up going over to NJ for kickboxing. I got back around 9:15 and STILL had so much day left! LOL. We ended up meeting up with a couple of Cam's friends around 2:30 at a brewery, planning to just stay for a couple hours, but then a few of my friends came too and then a few others, and we decided to go out for dim sum, so got back around 10:30. But it was probably for the best to prevent any early napping! And it was a fun time.
Yesterday was much quieter. The weather was nice so we went for a long walk and ran a couple errands and stopped by our friends' place. My sister and Tristan came by for a bit too. Otherwise just the usual Sunday stuff.. laundry, workout, meal prep, etc. Feels good to be back into my routine. I loved being away but I miss having a routine! And felt good to (mostly) sleep through the night the last 2 nights so I feel pretty much back to normal, finally. I'm WFH today and it should be a pretty busy day with calls throughout the day, but that usually helps it go by quickly. It's going to be beautiful out again so definitely planning to get outside for a walk or two later and maybe run to the library.
A: Peloton.. 40 min cardio HIIT, 10 min chest and back, 10 min core
B: 1 egg, 1/2 cup egg whites scrambled with whole wheat matzah S: banana with peanut butter L: Leftover southwest sweet potato and ground chicken skillet S: yogurt D: pasta with lemon broccoli and asparagus
Hope everyone has a great day!!

Morning,
Weekend was great, I'm ready for a quieter week:-)
Dinner Saturday was so good. I ordered a Petit Filet wrapped in Bacon with lump crabmeat on top. We started with Oysters on the Half Shelf. Overall a really nice evening with our friends.
The Gala yesterday was alot of fun. Those Nuns know how to party!! The Dinner wasn't great, disappointed overall with the food. I've been to this Banquet Hall a few years ago, and I remember it being alot better. They did raise alot of money so that's all that matters.
No plans today, other then picking up groceries and stopping at the Bank. It's going to reach 73 degrees and sunny, so I definitely want to get outside.
Treadmill workout soon, here's the plan;
B = Coffee with SF Creamer Honey Cherrios with Blueberries and Skim Milk
L = Deli Turkey on Wheat Bread with Mustard, Lettuce and Pickles Side of Veggie Straws
D = Skinnytaste Zesty Lime Shrimp and Avocado Salad
Have a nice day ~

It was a mixed weekend. It started with Lily having diarrhea Friday. I ended up having to throw her bed out. Gave her just a small amount of dry food. Still woke up to a mess in the living room, dining room and kitchen Saturday morning. Fortunately not on the rugs. But it required scrubbing on my hands and knees as it had mostly dried. Got her out for an extra long walk to hopefully get it all out of her system. Still limited her food. Went to the memorial service for Barbara's mom. It was very nice, as was the repast after. I did a quick check on Lily, who seemed fine and went over to Barbara and Nick's. It was just the 3 of us for 4 hours. Very nice time. Got home to just a small mess in the dining room and gave her another long walk. Yesterday I was in so much pain from all the scrubbing that after I fed the ferals, walked her (no mess), took some meds and went back to bed. At noon, Carol and I went over to see Marge. She is going through the angry stage so we just let her vent. Then we got her outside in the sunshine since it was such a beautiful day and she started feeling and looking better. Wasn't in the mood to go shopping after that so I will have to go after work. Got home and Lily was fine and has been fine since. Still kept her on the rice and dry kibble for another day just in case. I'm still quite sore this morning but not as bad as yesterday. Tylenol is fortunately kicking in.
S - Usual coffee B - Carrot cake oatmeal with cream cheese "frosting" L - Ham and provolone on 647 wheat, southwest salad kit D - I have lo chicken marsala from the repast but I'm not feeling it at the moment E - Walking and stretching

Hi. I hope everyone had a nice weekend. My weekend was nice and the weather was beautiful. On Saturday, I had a good workout, did my laundry, and organized my utility closet before heading over to watch the girls. We played outside for a bit before watching the movie, "Matilda". Have you seen it? It was my first time, and it's IMO a little scary for kids. They had watched it previously and wanted to see it again. On Sunday, I spent the morning with the family before heading home. I ended up exploring the area nearby which included a long walk, browsing some shops, and treating myself to a beer at a local brewery while enjoying the sun. I finished the day by going to a Peruvian restaurant for dinner. Great weekend overall.
Right now, I have 3 TVs being installed (Master, screened porch & loft). They have been here for about an hour and are working on the first one. I plan to go to the gym as soon as they finish. I need to go to Target too. Before I know it, it will be mid to late afternoon. I'm eating breakfast now, and haven't planned my meals out. I'm eating LO chopped kale salad. I might look into finishing leftover items in the freezer. I'm heading to the Johnsons tomorrow and will be there through Friday. Ella's surgery is first thing Wednesday morning, and I will be helping out with caring for Emma & Lila. Please pray the surgery goes well, and that minimal pain is involved after. The surgery is called Robotic Pyeloplasty. A stent will be placed and it will be removed a month later. Ella will have a catheter for a week after the first surgery and be on limited activities. Not sure what they plan looks like for the second surgery yet.
Have a good day.
