We are all engaged in weight loss/weight maintenance journeys and we are all Jewish or at least interested in Judaism. We like to eat, we like to discuss. It is our goal here to provide each other support on our journeys, to share experiences, to call on our rich cultural heritage and texts, and to help each other grow spiritually.

More about Pesach tomorrow….
For today : could YOU possibly act as an objective juror in the current trial against Trump in the NYC hush money case? Even if you do not like him, could you force yourself to be an objective juror? Why or why not?

I think this could bring out the worst in me. Listening to him/seeing him makes me wretch. I would want to believe I would be impartial but that might very well be so I could crucify him.

Re today's topic: I could not be impartial about Trump, as I truly despise him, his family, and his cronies.

I wish I could say that I could separate out this particular legal issue and evaluate the evidence fairly. But I can't. He has shown us all who he is, and I believe him. My dearest wish is to see him locked up for the rest of his life. Blech!
