Good morning! Yesterday felt busy from start to finish, but I'm glad we are past Monday now. Urgent care thankfully went very quickly for Cody. She seemed to lean more towards it being an allergic reaction and put him on a steroid pack plus cream for the rash on his mid-section. I worked from home and picked up his meds a bit later. After work I put a oven ready roaster in the oven which we haven't had in a while and it was pretty tasty! James and I watched Survivor while we ate.
Today I'm in the office and no plans tonight. Cody has a haircut after school so I may just swing by there to pay and then either go to the gym or workout at home. The weather is supposed to be nice! Tomorrow night we'll be going to DC.
Hope you all have a nice day.
B: low carb tortilla w/ bologna, pepperoni, cheese & mayo L: macaroni salad + tuna, veggies, hb egg and avocado S: banana D: oven baked pork chop, sides TBD for now Exercise: gym or workout at home

Busy at work. I'm fine with that.
S - Usual coffee B - Egg on avocado toast with salsa L/D - AFI food show at work. Current and predicted food trends, comfort food favorites. Probably 40-50 food vendors. I will pick and choose to indulge wisely since WI is tomorrow

Good morning! Yesterday was super busy at work as expected, pretty much start to finish, but I settled my case for Thursday so trial is off for that day which helps a lot! Figures it didn't happen until after the hour+ prep session with the client yesterday but I'll take it either way! My settlement conference in the afternoon wasn't very productive but there was some down time during it so I was able to get some other work done at least. Cam and his friend both had early days so they went to my favorite brewery for outdoor happy hour and I really debated finding some way to cut out early and join them, especially after such a chaotic day, but just couldn't get done in time.
I'm heading to court (in Philly) in a few for a hearing which hopefully shouldn't go too long. It's going to be gorgeous out today so planning to walk home and meet Cam somewhere along the way and stop for coffee. I was supposed to have another hearing (by phone) today that I thought would be this afternoon but the judge refused to move it from this morning even though both the other attorney and I have scheduling conflicts, so my boss is going to handle it. I'm annoyed but also kind of works out to make my day a little easier! LOL I'm in desperate need of a pedicure (my toes got seriously jacked up from all the hiking and walking on our trip, like the nails are all broken and uneven, EW) so I'm going to do that at lunch time and bring my laptop to get some work done. But, with Thursday settled and my boss covering my other hearing, today shouldn't be quite as bad as expected! I'm in court again tomorrow morning but then it quiets down a little.
A: Peloton.. 40 min cardio HIIT, 20 min full body strength
B: fried egg and avocado on 2 slices light whole wheat toast S: nonfat latte, maybe split a pastry with Cam L: leftover cauliflower quinoa salad with pistachios and figs S: blueberries, raspberries D: I think I'm going to try a new recipe called assassin's spaghetti.. it's kind of like spaghetti made risotto style. we'll see how it turns out! with roasted brussels
Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning! I hope you all are doing well. Ella's surgery went well, and her catheter should be removed tomorrow. I'm so happy about that. It's been a ride for her for sure. Seeing her in pain or just stressed has been hard. The last two days she has been up and walking around, and no pain meds required. If all goes well, she will return to school Thursday. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. Today, is my last day of picking up Emma from school. I really enjoyed the extra time alone with Emma & Lila. Now that I'm home, it's like a 50 minute drive to pick Emma up and a 30 minute drive to drop her off. Luckily, the side roads are beautiful. A trade worker is here and I need to run. I will check back this afternoon for personals.
