Zoom Yoga is done and I'm going to go to UPS to mail the package of slides/prints that I found yesterday to James. They are from a trip the three of took to Yucatan in 1986. James is going to scan them all in his fancy scanner.

I had a wonderful hair appointment this morning. My gray is coming in nicely and I am not coloring it at this time. But that can always change- right? It feels so good. We are going to see the show “Company” tonight in Providence. It’s a revival, so heaven only knows how that will go. The revival of Oklahoma was a complete dud as far as I was concerned.
Tomorrow I am having coffee with my BFF from teaching.

We are having some major inside work done this spring/summer so DH and I have been purging and tossing/recycling/donating. It’s amazing what we have held on to all these years! Tomorrow’s project is a hutch that has pretty much worked as a catch all for “stuff”. I have a feeling that will be donated to the Habitat for Humanity Restore.

I am keeping busy to partly keep my mind off a diagnosis of low-pressure glaucoma from my eye doctor appointment Tuesday. Completely broadsided by it. Given the choice of eye drops 2-3 times a day every day for the rest of my life or laser surgery, I opted for the laser surgery. Early July. Who was that said man plans and God laughs? I’ve had a couple of days to mull everything over and I am ready to talk about it. I told my kids yesterday. What was the first thing each of them said- independently of each other? “Mom, you can get medical weed!” It has been legal in RI for a year or so- but apparently it’s not good for this type of glaucoma and it makes me anxious/ slightly paranoid- LOL!

Hi Lynn, I'm sorry about your glaucoma diagnosis. My friend Suzanne has glaucoma and it's a bummer for her. She uses drops and is constantly having problems with them. It might be worth researching the medical marijuana route...talk to your eye doctor about that maybe.

I have been having off and on shortness of breath for the past few weeks. It comes and goes...today I didn't have it at all until about 5 pm, but yesterday I had it most of the day and felt lousy. I called the cardiologist and he said to cut  my beta blocker in half for a couple of weeks and see if that might have an effect. But it's a triangle...how do you cut a triangle in half?  Well, they can prescribe one that's half the strength, so I've sent them a message asking them to do that.
