Good morning!
100% rain here today. I'll be tutoring morning and afternoon, and I'll go somewhere for lunch in between. I'll get home around 3 and then will pack for my week in North Carolina.

Maryenne, how was the tomato pie with the pimento cheese in it? That sounded good. Your trip next week should be fun.
We have rain, but right now it is light rain so we're still having our coffee on the covered patio. We are supposed to have rain pretty much all day. It has been a very wet spring.
I have house chores to do today so that will keep me busy.

nashville11, I ended up doing something completely different and not using the pimento cheese. I baked a puff pastry, mixed up mozzarella and feta cheese and herbs and put that on the pastry, put the tomatoes and herbs on top of that, and baked it again. It was wonderful. It's from Southern Living.

Hello friends
I went to visit Don today. He looks so much better with his hair cut. He was happy to get some new clothes. He asked about my dog, not Ruby but the dog before her named Bonita. I showed him a picture of her on my phone and he was happy to see it. He says he is leaving the nursing home soon. I hope he is not going to try and get away from there.
