Good morning everyone!
We woke up to rain and thunder. The rain seems to have stopped for now at least, but it's still very dark outside, and I can hear thunder in the distance. I think we're going out for lunch. There's a local Italian place that's been here for many years, but we don't visit all that often as the location isn't as convenient as some others. That sounds good to me today though, and I we will go there.
DD is flying to New Orleans today for a work conference. She'll get back home Thursday evening so I'm on chauffeur duty for DGD this coming week. Now that DGS has a car he usually drives them to school and also home if he doesn't have baseball practice. This, however, is the last week of school and since he is high school and she is middle school their schedules are different so her dad will be able to take her to school, but I'll need to pick her up and take her to her practices. I enjoy doing it though, and I'm glad to feel I can help DD.
