Over 60 & Still Working - Sunday

Good morning!

It's a gorgeous day here. Really nice sitting out and enjoying the sunshine all around. Nick has decided on some additional things he wants to have done with the rental renovation so supervising that is keeping him busy. That's good and bad because he's been getting up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night every night thinking about it. Personally I'm ready to get it over with.

Good morning!

We are in the Berkshires for the next six to eight weeks. We drove both vehicles up yesterday. I anticipate that we’ll have to go back every week to ten days to do various things. DD and DS are doing so much for us with helping out with overseeing the project.

I am taking deep breaths- this is a big transition for both of us. DH has been more than patient with me.

It’s a beautiful day here and we will take advantage of this beautiful weather. I want to get some pots for plants and put out my decorative rain gauge. The rule of thumb for planting here is nothing goes in the ground until Memorial Day. DH has dahlias that he will put in the ground next week. They are my favorite flower, love their vibrant colors.

I hope you’re enjoying being in the Berkshires for a while. You have the renovated house to look forward to. You must be really used to going back and forth.
