No thread yesterday! What is to become of us?
I was doing errands and medical stuff all day - Prolia injection, labs, RXs, this and that. Trying to get everything done before I leave next Thursday for Buffalo. I'll tutor this afternoon and then drive down to Sopchoppy to have supper with my cousin Liz. She is having a difficult time.

Esther, how are things for you?
Lynn, I hope you were pleased with what you saw when you visited the remodel in RI.
I'm really not sure why I didn't make it here yesterday. I didn't have anything pressing going on, but yet somehow the day slipped past me. It's cloudy here this morning so we might get some rain. I hope not. I'm going with Nick over to the rental we've been renovating and will do some cleaning--floor mopping, etc mostly in the kitchen. We've already paid to have it cleaned once, but it was too soon. I told Nick that at the time, but he just gets in too big of a hurry to get things done. The maintenance man still had touch-up jobs to do, so of course it rained and the floor got tracked up. Wish he would have listened and waited to get it cleaned, but you know what they say about wishing. Anyway, no big deal. Hope you each have a lovely day!

Good morning!
Yesterday was a flurry of errands, house work and the day went by in a flash!
Joyce, the work that has been done so far is “behind the scenes” for the most part- electrical work mostly. The walls are down to studs in the rooms that are going to be re-plastered. The furniture that will be saved- not a whole lot- has been taken out and stored. I need to make an appointment with the furniture store to order the living room furniture. We will go to RI Monday morning and meet with the cabinet lady and to have a blood test Tuesday - I will get my hair and nails done while I am there! LOL The following week we’ll be back for my rheumatologist appointment and I will try to get the counters finalized.
DD1 is coming for a visit in a few weeks. She’ll fly into RI and visit friends and family there, then drive out to the Berkshires and fly back to Texas from Albany. We’ll drive both vehicles to RI and leave one there for her to use and she’ll bring it up here. Her visit coincides with our annual hearing tests, so we are going to be in RI for a day anyhow.
Maryenne, sending good thoughts for your cousin.
Joyce, good luck with the cleaning up. You are such good landlords. Obviously both of you care about your properties and your tenants.
