Over 60 & Still Working - Tuesday

Good morning Maryenne, Lynn, and Esther!

We're supposed to get rain off and on all day today. It's already been raining some, and it's gloomy outside. We've had SO much rain this year that at times it makes me think that perhaps somehow we've been magically transported to the Pacific Northwest. Maybe I'm now living in Seattle and just didn't know it.   

Yesterday I spent the entire day at home and managed to get a lot of items checked off my to do list--things that were small and not critical, but that I've been procrastinating about for awhile. Today my cleaning lady is here, well actually my cleaning lady's sister is here as my regular lady had a conflict. That's fine as her sister has cleaned for me other times as well and she does an excellent job. I'm happy with either one of them.

It is sunny here in RI. We have everything done here that we need to do so we will head back to MA after my manicure.

We picked out cabinets yesterday. Made some changes in the floor plan. Next week we’ll pick out the kitchen floor.

DH has left to drive a friend to an auto parts place. He's also going mail a box of stuff to Buffalo and pick up an RX for me at CVS. I'm just waiting for the dealership to call about my car.
