Good morning friends,
I realized late last night that I have a UTI. I looked online and there are several places that will prescribe the antibiotic and send it to your pharmacy. They ask a lot of questions, but I decided it was faster than trying to get into see my doctor (I'm sure they would want me to come in). So CVS has the order and it will be ready at noon. Complicating the situation is that my car is in the shop and I'm leaving tomorrow for Buffalo. So this seemed the most expedient way to get the meds I need. James was upset that I was "self-medicating" and I promised him I would let my doctor know. One time, a urologist told me that women know when they have UTIs and he believes that women should be able to keep the antibiotics on hand.
Meanwhile, the dealership called me and told me that my car repair will about $1,150. It won't be ready before I leave so DH will have to get it when it's ready. I really hate being without my car.
That's my news for today! Hope you are all well.

Good morning!
Maryenne, I hope you feel better soon and that the medicine will quickly knock out the UTI. While car repair is always expensive, I'm glad yours is no worse than it is even though that sounds like a lot. Enjoy your trip to Buffalo!
It's a quiet day here. We had some mild storms last night, and may get more today but right now it's sunny and nice. Speaking of car repairs, my daughter's is in the shop now. Last week she was stopped waiting to make a left turn on a major street. A lady stopped behind her. Then a couple of uninsured and undocumented young men slammed into the rear of the car that was behind Sherry, which in turn pushed that lady into my daughter. That was bad enough, but then the guy panicked and tried to back up fast but instead slammed his foot down on the gas with it in forward so just hit them all a second time. Fortunately only the vehicles were actually hurt, but my daughter's and the lady in the middle's were really damaged. In fact there's a possibility they may both be totaled. Since the third car was uninsured, then that leaves the lady in the middle's insurance picking up the cost for everything. Just grateful no one was hurt which could have easily happened.
Lynn and Esther waving to you both!

Good morning! Today is our 53 rd wedding anniversary! Our friend has arranged a special dinner at his farm restaurant for tonight. It will be fantastic- beautiful setting and the weather is perfect. I hope we can sit on the patio. We usually don’t do much other than have a nice dinner. This year I told DH no major gifts- the house Reno is our gift to each other. We are having the kitchen, living room and hall painted a soft gray/blue. The kitchen cabinets will be a medium gray. The counters and backsplash are white with gray streaks. Next week we’ll pick out the flooring when we go to RI- Monday. maryenne , my doctor says the same thing about UTIs. We know when we have one! And that we should be able to have the meds on hand. Ouch on the car repair, but it sounds like it was a lot of safety warning stuff that we rely on so much! Safe travels tomorrow. How long will you be in Buffalo? Summer is a great time in the Northeast, closely followed by fall. I am sure Thomas will be so ex=xcited to see you! Waving to Joyce and Esther. Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Happy anniversary, mooselady12! I'll be in Buffalo until June 17. James wanted me to be there through two weekends.
We went to CVS and picked up the antibiotic and then to Publix for milk. I'm going to work on getting my clothes together to pack.
