I see that I missed yesterday. No idea why!
Cathleen got home last night from her work trip to Italy and Switzerland. She was up early this morning and they took Thomas for a check-up on his ears and then to school. Not sure what we'll do the rest of the day.

Maryenne, glad you are enjoying your visit and hope Cathleen had a good work trip. She definitely went to some beautiful places!
Lynn, enjoy the visit with your sister-in-law, and I know you will enjoy the visit with your DD. It's nice that you can leave your car in RI for her to use there.
Esther, hope all is well with you and that you are having a good week.
It's a beautiful morning here and going to be a hot day. Nick wants us to do a picnic lunch to one of our state parks. I think he wants to take some pictures. Late this afternoon I have an MRI for my back/spine. I don't think I really need it, but since the hospital closed the pain management clinic where I was going I've had to switch doctors. My last MRI for that was about 3 years ago, so this doctor wants to see if there have been any changes.
Yesterday we did go walk again at the walking track, and it is already making a difference in blood sugar numbers each morning. I also went to the store that specializes in house plants. She had some nice plants. I didn't buy anything though.

Good morning! Enjoy your visit maryenne Joyce, enjoy the picnic and good luck with the MRI. I am looking forward to seeing my sister in law. Her oldest son has been seriously ill with cancer, but is now cancer free and has to work on adding some weight and building his reserves up. She has been under a lot of stress, both as a mother and a retired nurse. DD was going to rent a car while she is here, but it seems silly and expensive for her to do that when we have two vehicles and can only drive one at a time. We had to go to RI for our hearing tests and the timing worked out. Waving to Esther, hoping that she is having a good start to the summer. Have a peaceful day. Lynn |
