Good morning!
I was able to take my bandage off last night, doesn't look too bad. I have to apply water with a little bit of vinegar and then Vaseline.
Tutoring today and then a stop at Publix for a couple of things.
Hope you all are staying cool!

Good morning!
Maryenne, I'm so glad the dermatology surgery went smoothly. Using vinegar and water is something I had not heard before, but I guess the vinegar would help in preventing infection. That's interesting.
Lynn and Esther, is it cooling down any for you?
It's typically hot and humid here, but we are used to that so there are no surprises. Last night we heard from Step-son #1 (Sasha) in Austin and he, his wife (Lori), and our granddaughter (Alexa) are coming for a visit over the July 4th weekend. We're excited about that as it's been a year since we've been with them. My Step-son #2 (Michael) and grandson (Tyler) will also be coming down from Nashville so we will have the house full. We're both looking forward to this, and I'm especially happy about it for Nick. DD (Sherry) and family are still on their cruise. They disembark tomorrow at Port Canaveral and will be coming home. I'll have to check with her to find out what their plans are for the 4th. Most often they go to her dad's in IL or to DSIL's (Heath) sister in MS, but if they have not already scheduled a trip it would be great if they would be in town also so we could have everyone together. That's a very rare occurrence these days. The last time it happened was 6 years ago!
I need to get my handyman busy as he had started a couple of projects here for me, but then stopped when we left for our cruise. He got busy with the renovation on the rental, then several other small projects on other rentals for us, and my unfinished projects got pushed to the back burner. I do want them finished now before the 4th though, so Nick texted him this morning that we need him to work that into his schedule.
Today I see the ortho for an injection in my knee. This one is the surgeon I was referred to so I also have a lot of questions for him. I'm definitely ready for this injection, and it's coming at a good time before the family visit as well. Hopefully I'll be able to walk, bend my knee, etc. much better for that after the injection. The first one I had really helped.
Enjoy your day and stay cool!

Just stopping in for a quick hello. DD will be arriving soon and I have a couple of things to do before she gets here. It is still miserably hot and humid. Thank goodness for AC!
