Good morning!
We're supposed to hit 99 today with the temperature, so when you add in the humidity the heat is going to be beyond ferocious. That's considerably hotter than we usually are in June. It's much more like mid-July and August.
Yesterday I got a pedicure which I definitely needed, but I don't like the color. I picked it out from those plastic things rather than the actual bottle of polish, and they never actually match what you end up with. I should have been paying more attention, but at least my toenails are trimmed which is what was most important to me. Afterwards I chauffeured DGD, and in the afternoon went to walk. Thank goodness for the walking track because no one could walk out in this heat. Last night my Red Hatters Club met for dinner and husbands were invited although only 3 actually came. Nick did go, but that will probably be his last time. 😂 Usually we meet for lunch somewhere rather than dinner, and I actually prefer that. We do a different restaurant every month.
Today I have a kidney ultrasound this morning, and lots of chores to do around the house later. As I expected my doctor is increasing my blood pressure medicine. For me high blood pressure runs in my family. I've been on medication since I was 40, and on the same dosage for a very long time, so I'm not surprised it needs to be bumped up. Hopefully the new dosage will do the trick.
