Good morning!
All is well here, and we'll probably go down to the Farmers' Market this morning. This is my daughter Sherry's birthday -- #50!!! That seems impossible to me.
Yesterday was very hot and humid, and we're back under a heat advisory for today. I did get my mile walk in yesterday. Nick went with me for the first time this week, but he was only able to do 1/3 mile. Still anything is better than nothing. We also tried out a new for us place to eat yesterday. I had been before, but this was the first time for Nick. For some reason he had always been reluctant to try it, but it turned out he liked it so we'll be going back. Nothing exciting going on in our world. Stay cool and enjoy the day!

Hello friends
Maryenne, I have your back pain is improving. Have you got hold of the doctor yet?
Joyce, I am glad your knee is improving.
Lynn, that squid accident sounds awful. The smell must be awful!
The court hearing is scheduled for July 2nd. Some things have changed. The nursing home and their attorney is now petitioning the court and my attorney has turned it over to them. My son was able to find out from the court online that they have requested a 30 day delay in order to get a clinical report on Don’s condition. So I think our only part of this process is reading the clinical report and signing one form. I am relieved.
I have waited out the heat wave without AC. Today my DGS says he will come after work and put the air conditioner in my bedroom window.
Something has gone wrong with my bed. I need to get a new one. Has anyone had any experience with buying furniture online? There seems to be some beds around $200 and some around $2000. That’s a large difference.
I hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend.

Good morning!
I went out around 9 and picked most of the remaining blueberries. It was very hot and humid. I should have gone out earlier. I made myself some oatmeal. I'll be writing postcards this weekend.
Esther, I'm so glad you're getting AC today! I've never bought a mattress online. We went to an locally owned mattress store and spend $2,800 on a king-size bed. It's wonderful. Also glad you're getting some relief with Don's situation.
Joyce, what was the new restaurant you tried?
Lynn, I think you're in MA today?
My back is good some days and not good other days. I'm glad I've got the appointment with the NP on Monday.
Happy Saturday to you all!

Good morning!
We are in MA until Tuesday. I have a laser procedure for glaucoma on Wednesday, so we have to back to RI for that. The doctor says it is an in and out procedure. Nothing to do before and no restrictions after.
Happy birthday to Sherry!
Esther, I am glad that the nursing home is taking the lead on Don’s hearing. And that you will have some AC! I have no experience in ordering furniture on-line. DD has and is generally happy with what she has bought. The mattresses did require a couple of tries before they got it right. I use a local furniture store. I have to see things in person and know who I can go to if there is a problem.
DD and her SO are coming for a couple of days visit this week. Our time here will overlap, they will go back to RI after we leave for there.
DH will mow the grass today and plant the grape plant his friend gave us. I will do some laundry and household chores. I moved some of the house plants outside and found a couple of spots with partial sun for them. It’s supposed to rain later, so no need to water!
Sending wishes for a peaceful day. Lynn
