Good morning,
I'm having a nice quiet morning, just piddling around as we say.
Joyce, I think your family is still there. I hope you all have had a wonderful time together! Lynn, you're probably getting ready to drive to Jacksonville tomorrow. I hope we're able to meet up! Esther, how are things with you?
I don't have any plans at all. It's too hot to go anywhere and anyway, we have everything we need right here.

Good morning!
Our kids left last night for Nashville. The ones from Texas had an 8 o'clock flight home to Austin this morning. The Memphis airport is closer to us, but Nashville has a direct flight which is much better. We had a wonderful 3 day visit with all our children and grandchildren. It is so rare for us all to be together at the same time. Our house was filled. I am really tired, but it was absolutely worth it. Everyone had a great time, and Nick was especially happy to be with both his boys at the same time.
Oh yes! One more thing. I think I told you DD bought a new house on Tuesday. Well they have also sold their old one. She put a post on her FB page for her friends saying they were going to list it this week, but if anyone was interested to contact her this weekend before they listed. She immediately got 5 calls from friends or friends of friends making appointments to see it. The first appointment for showing offered them full price on the spot as soon as they saw it. They agreed to an August 30 closing which will give them time to get the new flooring done for the the new house which closes August 5 before they actually make the move. The new owners just live a couple of houses away from them now. They like the neighborhood, but needed a bigger house and were really happy when Sherry's went on the market. DD's whole family is excited about the move, and we are happy for them.
Lynn, have a safe trip to Florida and that would be great if you and Maryenne have an opportunity to meet up. If you do get together, take a selfie of the two of you and post it as an avatar so we can all see.
Maryenne, staying in where it is cool sounds like a good plan, and a relaxing day sounds great to me right now.

Good evening. The suitcases are in the car. Fridge cleaned out and just a bag of technology and books to pack in the morning.
I am looking forward to meeting up with Maryenne. It should work since I can leave DH with his sister. He won’t be stranded without transportation and they can spend some time together without me. I love my SIL but understand sometimes siblings just want to hang out together for a little while.
Joyce, it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.
Maryenne, I will be in touch when we get to Jacksonville.
