Good morning friends!
What a great meet-up Lynn and I had. We have so much in common and of course, our long history with this group. I hope to meet all of you in person at some point.
No plans today except to stay out of the car and out of the heat.

Lynn, I know you must have enjoyed meeting up with Maryenne. I hope you're also having a good visit with your DSIL. How much longer will you be in Florida?

My plans are like Maryenne's to just stay inside in the cool. I don't think I'm even going to cook, but rather order pizza instead. I'll probably spend a large portion of the day reading. That always makes for a good day for me.

I forgot to mention that my friend Suzanne has been exposed to Covid by her minister who contracted it after visiting people in a rehab facility. We were hoping to meet up for lunch this week, but I guess not. Stay safe out there!

I don't think we will ever have Covid completely behind us. I'm thankful, however, that we now have vaccines and medication for it. I am expecting that we will need to get new Covid vaccines every year in the same way we get new flu vaccines every year, or at least Nick and I do. Sadly I think it is just a part of our reality now. I hope Suzanne will not come down with Covid. It's wise for you to take precautions though.

maryenne ,I had a great time yesterday at lunch. You would never know we were meeting for the first time! We are planning on leaving Tuesday morning early. It will take a couple of days to get back to MA. Then we need to make a trip down to RI. It is hot and muggy here- staying inside and reading today. nashville11 , I think you are right about Covid being with us, just like the flu. Waving to Esther. Joyce, I agree with you. We need to remember to be careful.
I've roasted some tomatoes with garlic and rosemary. I think I'll add them to some pasta and cheese for supper.
