Good morning!
We arrived back in MA early yesterday evening. We drove through a wave of the leftover storms from the Midwest. Oh my, they were pretty fierce at times. Today I have a list of things to accomplish, including making an appointment for my car to be inspected by the end of the month.

Lynn, glad you had a good trip and made it safely through the storms. On the news it looked like they were really bad.
I'm getting a haircut this afternoon, and that is pretty much all I have on the schedule.

Joyce, enjoy your haircut. Esther, waving hello to you.
My usual morning routine got knocked a little off kilter when the wrens and hummingbirds alerted to me to something going on around the feeders by the kitchen window. It was a snake! Trying to get a drink of the sugar water. I went out with my walking stick and knocked it away but then it came back and I had to go out again. There's a sweet bay bush just next to it that the snake crawled up on.
Then I did zoom yoga and now no other plans.

That encounter with the snake sounds terrifying! I would be scared to go near it. Has this happened before?

I’m going to get a haircut today also. I feel cooler when my hair is short.
I had a call from the nursing home to tell me that they have a Covid outbreak. So I will be home for a while. I hope it’s short.

maryenne , I don’t mind snakes but I hate to be surprised by them! 1kflute , I am sorry to hear about the outbreak, but glad the NH is being proactive. nashville11 , enjoy the haircut. I booked a week of appointments in RI this morning. We will stay in a local hotel since the floors will be too wet to walk on. Two vehicle inspections, hair cut, class reunion, annual physicals and visual field exam for me. Catching up with laundry and yard work today. Lynn
