Good morning! I think we'll have another rainy day today. Yesterday DH made us a late breakfast and then we spent the rest of the day watching different things on BritBox. We watched an entire season of "Crime", a police procedural set in Edinburgh. It was very well acted but dark.
Nothing planned for today. I think it might be rainy again. I'm thinking I might make spaghetti for DH - he loves that.

Maryenne, we're having spaghetti today also. I don't make it all that often, but we both really like it. I cheat and combine jarred sauce with some other ingredients rather than making the sauce from scratch though. In fact, I use the Salted Marshmallow instant pot recipe although I've found that for us I have to increase the spices by a lot -- at least 3 times the amount they call for.
Lynn, enjoy the visit from your son as well as the visit to the brewery. I love good homemade pickles, so I bet yours from the farmers' market will be good. My grandmother used to make some called Seven Day Pickles that I remember were very good.
Esther, hope all is well with you.
Right now the sun is shining beautifully and the temperatures are still only in the 80s, but rain is supposed to be coming in maybe this afternoon. Then they are predicting rain off and on for pretty much the rest of the week.
Yesterday we went shopping in Memphis. Nick has been looking for a new watch, but the shopping here in Jackson has just really gone downhill ever since Covid. A lot of stores closed never to return, and others have much more limited selections. So we went to a large mall on the outskirts of Memphis. It's only about a 45 minute to an hour drive for us actually. He did find one he likes, but now this morning he is not certain he is going to keep it. I think, however, that he probably will find he likes it much more as he wears it a day or two. Yesterday he only had it on a very short time. We'll see what he thinks after wearing it all day today. He has 30 days to return it.
