Good morning!
Joyce, we went to Hudson, NY to the bookstore. I love small independent bookstores! This one is an old, historic fire house that has been turned into a bookstore with a wine/beer bar. It is about half an hour from our place in MA on the Hudson River. There are a lot of cute stores and some great restaurants there. I think we will go back some time. I love going to MYC, but haven’t been there since DD had an apartment there about ten years ago.
Today is our last full day in MA. We head back to RI tomorrow for eight days of appointments and my class reunion. We are staying in a holiday inn in a nearby town since the floor refinishes will be there this week.
Sending wishes for a peaceful day. Lynn

Good morning!
Lynn, the bookstore sounds lovely. Those small, independent bookstores are rare now at least in my part of the country. It sounds like a place I would really enjoy.
Waving to Maryenne and Esther!
It's a rainy day for us. The rain started during the early morning hours and is supposed to continue off and on all day so it's not the kind of day you really want to get out and about. Fortunately, there's nothing I need to go out and do today.
I tried something new for me at least. Kroger has a program going on for $59 a year which gives me extra points toward gas when I shop. I always buy my gas from Kroger, so thought I'd definitely save at least the cost of the membership. The bonus with it is that you can get free next day grocery delivery. I've ordered groceries online especially during Covid, but this time I ordered online and had them delivered. They were delivered this morning, and I was very pleased. My shopper texted with me as she went letting me know that a substitution needed to be made or else cancel that item. Then they were promptly delivered to my front door. I was pleased. It's certainly not a necessary service for me, but it surely was convenient. I would still want to choose my own produce most likely, but the only produce I bought was a butternut squash, which I was pleased with her selection. It was the size I would have chosen myself. So I won't use this service every time, but I will use it again probably several times during the year.

Hello!
I went to the last yoga class of this series (starting up again the end of August),out to lunch with seven other women from the class, and then had a call from my doctor's office to come in at 2 to go over my MRI results. It's arthritis/degenerative joint disease which I already knew, but we talked about treatment. Basically what I've been doing, my own pain management routine, plus add physical therapy. I'm not a fan of PT, but I guess I'll give it a go. Another option would be to see an orthopedic doctor for shots but I'm not ready for that.
Meanwhile, my dear cousin Liz fell yesterday and broke 3 ribs. She's in the hospital and thinks she'll go home tonight.
Happy Tuesday!

Lynn, I love bookstores too! I don't get to them often enough, especially now that everything is on Kindle. Joyce, DH has some kind of deal like that with Walmart and their gas station.

Hello friends
Lynn I love bookstores also. It’s like a treasure hunt. I hope the work on your home goes well.
Maryenne I hope your treatment goes well. I am a fan of PT. I hope it helps you this time. That 2 hour MRI sounds like quite an ordeal.
Joyce You are so nice to loan your car to DD. I am sure she appreciates it.
I am trying to relearn some baroque French music. I don’t play as well as I used to and that is very upsetting.
Best to all

1kflute, my SIL was a psychologist and she always said everything you ever knew is still in your head.
