Good morning!
We had a good day yesterday. We didn't do anything really special, but we did go to the Farmers' Market, then to DD's moving sale, and then for a picnic at a nearby state park which was lovely. DD is getting rid of a lot before moving, and sold most of it yesterday but there is still a lot left that she's going to donate so we're taking Nick's pick-up over today to help carry stuff to Goodwill.
Hope you will each have a lovely day!

Good morning!
Joyce, sounds like you had a pleasant day yesterday. Sorry I missed posting!
I met Suzanne for lunch yesterday and gave her some postcards and stamps, and I ate WAY too much. Fried pickles for an appetizer, then fried chicken and mashed potatoes, then key lime pie. I was miserable all afternoon and didn't eat anything else the rest of the day, except Tums. I started a book that my yoga teacher highly recommended called "The Inner Work of Age: Shifting from Role to Soul" by Connie Zweig. It's a very interesting and thought-provoking book.
This morning, I'm on my second cup of coffee and have done my exercises. We will be keeping an eye on the storm which is expected to become a hurricane by the time it makes landfall. We don't imagine that it will be more than big rain and wind, so we're not worried. DH has the generator all ready in case we lose power, and we probably will. Our electric company is a rural cooperative and we lose power frequently, usually just enough to have to reset the clocks. Suzanne lives down at the beach and her area has evacuation orders in place. I don't think she'll leave though. She lives in a sturdy house on pilings, so I think she'll be safe.
Hope you all have a good day!
