Hello and happy Sunday!
I'm off to the movies. They're showing Lawrence of Arabia and although I've seen it several times on tv, never on the big screen. It's very long, so we'll see how long I last or how much junk I eat.

Somehow I didn't make it here this morning. We had an early lunch, not planned but I tried a new recipe and allowed more time for it than it actually required to cook. It was ok, but not great. I'll probably make it again, but it's not one I would make on a regular basis.
Tomorrow I need to contact a repairman for both my refrigerator (actually the ice maker) and my garbage disposal. Our handyman will be able to handle the garbage disposal, but I'll need an appliance repair person for the ice maker. I don't think either one is a major problem, but nevertheless needs to be addressed.

Good afternoon. DH helped a friend paint a window frame today. I looked around at the garden center but was uninspired. Just vegging this afternoon. nashville11 , you asked how far we are from the river. Our property slopes down a bank to a pond/river area that’s about 40 feet from the house. I remember the turtles laying their eggs here when my grandparents owned the property. Enjoy the movie maryenne , Waving to Esther. Have a peaceful evening. Lynn |
