Good morning everyone!
It's going to be another sweltering hot day here, but then it's August so to be expected. Yesterday my new refrigerator was delivered, and I had to let it cool down before use. So today I'm putting everything back in and getting it organized. I think I'm going to like it, at least I hope so. Thankfully I was able to put everything out in the garage refrigerators to keep it cool while waiting. Now I have two refrigerators and a freezer out there. Way more than needed! But Nick wants to keep the old one since the only thing not working on it is the ice maker to use as a spare in case one in a rental goes out and we have to wait on delivery for a new one. This way the tenant wouldn't lose their food while waiting.
The new one I bought has two ice makers which I think is way more than we need, but Nick thinks that's a great feature and it came with the model so I guess we're going to have a lot of ice. For people who usually eat out at least a couple of times a week, we surely do have plenty of food storage! 😂
Last night our neighbors at the end of the cove walked down and brought us some homegrown tomatoes and bell peppers. They (especially her) are really into gardening. So I appreciated that. She brought both red and yellow tomatoes. I've never had yellow before. She said they are less acidic. She also brought some thyme and lavender. We have lovely neighbors.

Good morning!
I am glad you like the new refrigerator Joyce. Since you have rental property it makes sense to keep the old one to use as a spare for the rentals if it is needed. What nice neighbors you have!
I hope Maryenne enjoyed the play yesterday. I love live theater!
It’s raining a little here. We need it. I was picking flowers in the garden yesterday and noticed the ground is pretty dry. DH was planning to mow the lawn today but may have to delay it due to the weather. Oh, well.
Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Hello friends,
Joyce, you've surpassed us...we only have two refrigerators and a freezer. One of them is in the pantry/closet. We had it in our old house and it was new then...a Kenmore. It doesn't have any bells and whistles so it just chugs along. It holds bottled water and DH's different kinds of flour that he bakes bread with. and other odds and ends.
Ain't Misbehavin' was really great. We had dinner first at a Chinese restaurant we like and then had to drive about 45 minutes to Monticello. Got there just in time! These players were a mix of acting teachers and school teachers here in town. It was after 11 when we got home and I had trouble getting to sleep, so I'm dragging today. Have done one small load of laundry and have another batch of things the cats lay on to wash separately. I ordered some more addresses for postcards, but they don't have to be mailed until Wednesday so I can take my time.
We're hoping to get some rain today also, but DH has the sprinklers on because we haven't had any since Monday.
Wishing you all a very pleasant Sunday!
