Over 60 and Still Working/Friday

Good morning,

Yesterday was a crazy day. Two hours at the eye doctor and then she sent me to a retina specialist. I couldn't see a thing after she had dilated me, so thank goodness DH was there. We were at the specialist until 5 and so I was exhausted last night. Basically, he was looking to see if I had a torn or detached retina because the same thing happened in 2017 and he did laser surgery to repair it then. He couldn't see any tear and finally decided a blood vessel came loose somehow and that caused the floaters. He said it will eventually re-absorb but doesn't want me to drive obviously because I can't see out of my right eye. I've had to cancel my trip with James to take John's ashes to Miami because we were going to drive down there. Not sure what the next step on that will be. Not sure if I can cancel the flights to Buffalo. Feels like everything is up in the air.

Sending good eye mojo to you. That has to be really scary.

I am working on a hat with some of the nice teal colored yarn that I have been accumulating for the past few months.
From a local craft swap I brought home a kit making a small scarf out of 3 different yarns. I learned to do a few new things. I did get rid of some yarn and beads. They are going to run the swap every few months.
