Good morning! It’s cloudy here. Outside work is all done, so a little dusting and sweeping is on the agenda. And going to the grocery store for a few things. I have to calll the furniture store and arrange for the bedroom furniture to be dropped off. That will be nice! The house won’t be completed for a bit but it will be nice to have a place to sleep!

Good morning,
Lynn, it sounds like things are coming together at your house! I'm sure it's going to be wonderful.
It's quite sunny here. I went out on the porch early before the sun was up very much and hung a few hand-washed things on the line. I tried going out again, but the bright light really hurts my poor eye. It just feels very odd to only have one usable eye, although I know it will gradually get better. The retina doctor said it would be very slow to resolve itself. I go back to see him on Sept 16 and hopefully it's all better by then. I'm really disappointed to have to cancel my trip to Miami and Buffalo, but I'm trying not to be too sad.

Maryenne, I am so sorry about your eye, but glad he specialist thinks it will resolve on its own. That must be difficult to deal with, and I am truly sorry you've had to postpone your trips. I know that must be a big disappointment. Sending you mojo for fast healing!
Lynn, glad the house is progressing so well. It will be nice to have your new bedroom furniture and be able to sleep there when you go back and forth from MA. I'm sure it's going to be beautiful when fully completed.
Esther, glad you have enjoyed knitting the new scarf. Will you keep it for yourself or give it as a gift? I know you often do give your knitted items to family, and I'm sure they are appreciative.
I just realized I never posted yesterday, and have no idea why. Nothing special was going on here. We have no special plans for this holiday weekend. That's probably a good thing as it is raining here. Unfortunately I'm sure that is causing a lot of people to readjust their celebration plans. Have a lovely day!
