Over 60 and still working/ Tuesday

Good morning! 

Finishing up my first cup of coffee. It’s sunny and cool. We had the windows open last night. It was great to turn off the AC. 

We had a lovely time with our friends at dinner last night. We even had a little fire after dinner while we chatted. It was a great end to unofficial summer. 

Today my only “project” is to mail my nephew a package. I will send it UPS, so I have to stop at Staples. I LOVE an office supply store. I may need to get myself some new pens. And look at everything in the store.

Good morning!

Yesterday we shopped for a dishwasher at several places. I think we'll go back tomorrow to the local furniture/appliance store and get a KitchenAid we both liked. We've read so many reviews of dishwashers I am about sick of them! The sales lady is not working today, and I'd like her to get the full commission so will wait until tomorrow to go buy it. Our handyman said he can install it on Thursday.

Tonight I am subbing in a bunco group hosted by my friend who is also my daughter's mother-in-law. This group of 12 women has been getting together every month for years. I've never played bunco before, but I think it is more luck than skill so will probably be fun.

Hi friends,

DH drove me to yoga and then we went grocery shopping and did some errands. I'm feeling a little depressed that my eye is not improving as fast as I would like it to. But the doctor did tell me it would be weeks not days. I did write some postcards but my handwriting wasn't too good. LOL

Good luck with the dishwasher, Joyce! How is the new mattress?
