Over 60 & Still Working - Thursday

Good morning and waving to everyone!

It looks like it will be a beautiful day here. Late this afternoon around 4:00 our handyman is supposed to install my new dishwasher. I'm also on chauffeur duty for DGD this afternoon.

Yesterday afternoon DD brought her new car over to show us. It is a new-to-her Tesla, and would intimidate the heck out of me. I guess that is the difference between being 50 and 75. There is none of the stuff you normally would have on the dashboard. There is just a big computer screen. Right now they are charging it at night on a regular outlet in their garage, but are having a 240 volt installed for it. I sure hope they will love it, but it is definitely not for me. I told her she's come a long way from when I taught her how to drive on a straight shift to driving an all electric car that is capable of driving itself.

nashville11, I rode in one of those Teslas once. I thought it was strange. Enjoy your new dishwasher!

I bought my airline tickets this morning to fly to Buffalo on September 18 and return on October 7. I've never spent that long up there.

Just did my online yoga class and nothing else planned today, although I might bake something. We're supposed to have a lot of rain for the next few days.

We have set up the bed for the next couple of days. The new bed is supposed to arrive Saturday morning.

I am practicing patience with the whole renovation project. I do not see us being fully done until next month.

Joyce, I rode in a Tesla Uber once. Strange being in such a quiet car!

Maryenne, it will be nice for you to be in the northeast during the fall! Gorgeous colors and usually great weather.
