Good morning friends,
My vision is slowly getting better. I'm pretty sure I will be able to drive this week. I have PT and yoga on Tuesday morning, and even though DH says he will drive me, I think I'll be able to do it.
I've been writing postcards this morning, one or two at a time. I'm also working on the NYT crossword puzzle, which is hard to see on my phone even with normal vision!

Maryenne, I hope you're right that you will be able to drive this week. It must be frustrating when you feel that you can't do something that is normally so second nature to you.
Lynn, hope you enjoyed the new bed as much as your cat did! LOL! It sounds like it definitely had his stamp of approval.
Esther, hope all is well with you and that you are busy doing things you enjoy.
Things are going well here, and this visit with Tyler is much more calm. The last time they were here was in July when everyone was here -- Texas family and Tennessee family all combined. He was much too overstimulated all the time with so many people coming and going, and many of them people he didn't really know. This time with just the four of us it is much quieter, and he is much more calm and comfortable. He's familiar with Nick and I, and he's been here enough times that he's familiar with our house now. He's happier and more comfortable, and that makes it much better.
I have a ham baking, I've made potato salad, and I'm about to put baked beans in the oven. We'll have those things along with some Sister Schubert rolls, so cooking has been simple. It's a beautiful fall day outside with much lower temperatures than we have been experiencing, and Tyler has been able to be blow bubbles in the backyard which he has enjoyed.

Good evening ! We had pizza and salads with the family tonight. The kids made S’mores over the fire.
Joyce, I am glad Tyler had a good time. Your dinner sounds delicious!
