Over 60 & Still Working - Monday

Good morning!

It's much cooler this morning and going into the 80s today. There's lots of sunshine. It's going to be a quiet day here. My knee is much more swollen today even though I iced it down yesterday evening, so I'll spend some time doing that again today. We have plenty of leftovers so not much cooking will be needed. Waving to everyone. I'll check back later to read.

Hello friends
I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my back and legs, not functioning too well. I have an appointment with the orthopedist on Sept 23 for X-rays and a diagnosis.

My last visit to Don he was in a soaking wet bed and not getting anyone to clean him up. I was so mad. I am going back this afternoon and hope things are in better shape. There is an ombudsman and I may call her.

I am afraid to buy a new car because of the learning curve for driving them. Mine is 13 years old.
It’s great that your visit with your DgS is going well this time.
I know what you mean about falling apart. It hit me at 80. Sending healing wishes for your BP.

Good afternoon!

I had coffee with my BFF this morning, always good to catch up. This afternoon I will take DD1 to the airport. we had a nice visit and she’ll be back next month for DH’s birthday.

The Reno is coming along. The bedroom is starting to shape up. The electrician is coming by tomorrow and we are setting up thee appointment for the counters to be installed.
