Good morning!
I'm also thinking of Maryenne today, and sending hugs for her.
Lynn, enjoy being out and working in your garden today as well as the new book.
Esther, waving to you! Did you talk with the ombudsman for the nursing home?
We're far enough north that we are just getting the remnants of Francine. We are under a wind advisory and we have rain which is really coming down right now, but it's nothing to be concerned about. Thankfully yesterday was beautifully sunny for the graveside service we went to for my cousin's husband.
We still plan to go to Amish country in Ohio next week. Actually we're leaving here on Saturday. It's a little over 600 miles from us. We used to make the drive in one day when we've gone before, but Nick wants to break it into two days this time which will be easier. He surprised me too because usually he always wants to drive his pick-up truck, but this time he wants to take my car as it is more comfortable which sounds good to me.

Good morning and thank you for your very kind thoughts. I fell apart last night and then had trouble falling asleep. Woke up at 9, which is so not like me. I had a plan for today...well, you know what they say about plans. We are now having the remnants of Hurricane Florence. It's POURING rain and will be all day and tomorrow they say. Tornado warnings in the counties south of us. So my plan to get out and have a picnic at the place where John and I went is not going to happen. I skipped my zoom yoga, too.
Joyce, your trip sounds great!
Lynn, enjoy your peaceful day. Esther, hope you are well and having cooler temps.

Hello friends
Maryenne Sending a virtual hug for John’s birthday. I hope you have a mild encounter with the hurricane.
Joyce Sorry for your heart problems. I would think the doctor could see you sooner. I am also sorry for your loss of your cousin.
Lynn It sounds like you are pretty far along in the renovation process. I hope you are liking the results.
I have a meeting of my women’s group today. I need to find someone to work on holes in our gutters and stain the porches. We usually do that every other year, but let it go during the pandemic.
