Good morning!
We will be heading back to RI for a few days later this morning. We have card league tonight, tomorrow DH picks grapes at the winery, I have a manicure and the people from the counter place are coming to measure and make a template for the new counter. Thursday we have tickets for the opening of Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond musical. It’s the first show of our Broadway series this season.
Hoping everyone has a peaceful day. Lynn

Good morning!
First thing this morning I had my renal artery ultrasound. Now that is over, hopefully, the last of my tests are behind me and this will give some answers about why my blood pressure is so out of normal control. This afternoon I'll get a haircut, but other than that nothing else planned for today. The sun is out now, but we've had rain last night and this morning. Maryenne, you are likely glad you'll be missing the storm in Florida. We'll probably get rain from it next week, but since we don't get the actual storm we have no room to complain. Is your DH prepared with the generator, etc. in case he loses power?
Lynn, enjoy your card league tonight. Does your DH make his own wine with the grapes or how do you use them? My DH loves grapes, in fact fruit of all kinds.
Esther, hope all is going well for you and your family.

Good morning!
I've watered Cathleen's indoor plants, folded James's and Thomas's laundry that was in the dryer, and have my own laundry going. She got home from Venice after midnight and got up, took Thomas to daycare, and went to work. I don't know how she does it. I've got postcards to write so I'll get started on those.
DH got out very early this morning to buy gas for the generators. He will have everything under control as much as possible. It's just as well that I'm not there because I'm not much help.
Joyce, I had to have renal tests when they were trying to get my BP under control. I'm glad you're done for now. Lynn, I'm so happy about the progress on your house! Esther, I hope you are enjoying cooler weather.

Joyce, the winery relies on a few volunteers as well as their paid workers to pick the grapes for the winery. DH gets “paid” in bottles of wine for each day he works. Depending on the amount of time it’s 2 to 4 bottles. It’s a small winery, about half a dozen paid workers, including the owner. It’s like a family reunion when they all get together. DH has been doing this for 15 years or so.
