Thinking about Maryenne's DH this morning, and hoping that all is well there.
Lynn, did you enjoy the play last night?

Helene is just bringing us rain with some wind but not really strong wind. We're supposed to get about 3 inches of rain today so it's not a day conducive to being out and about if not needed, but we have nothing at all to complain about here on my end of the state. Yesterday I did get the remainder of my fall decorations put up, and got caught up on the laundry. So today I'll just kind of putter around the house and spend some time reading.

Good morning! DH is ok and he said "we are living happily ever after." That's all I know so far, but really that's enough. No power so he must be busy getting the generators set up.
I wrote postcards for a Congressional candidate in NY this morning. We're going to take an overnight road trip to Toronto tomorrow. I've never been there.
Looks like a beautiful day here. Hope you're having one, too!

Good afternoon my friends
The show was so good! It was told from the perspective of Neil Diamond’s therapy sessions. There was a lot of background about the reasons for the songs. We saw him in concert about 25 years ago. What a great performance!
My sister and I loved Neil Diamond. I remember her endlessly singing I am I Said when we were younger. Her favorite Neil Diamond song. That song played a major role in the end of the show. I felt like Beverly was there singing along with the audience.
Today I got my pneumonia shot and paid the balance of the counter tops. Now we are headed back to MA for a few days.
Maryenne, glad that DH is okay. The storm looked horrible on TWC! Enjoy your trip to Toronto. I have only been to Quebec in Canada.
Joyce, I need to get mums for both houses. Your mention of fall decorating jogged my memory to do that!

Hello friends
I am waiting for my friend Earl to arrive from California. Tomorrow we are going to Maine to stay for a week . He is hoping to see some beautiful foliage while we are there.
I went to see Don today. The nursing home staff is cracking down on him about his cleanliness. He complains about it. They say it takes three or four people to get him changed. I’m glad they are dealing with it but what a mess.
Maryenne, I hope everything is ok with your DH.
