Good morning all - woke up to glorious rain this morning. We need it so badly. Of course my umbrella is out in the car! I'm supposed to have a business lunch at an outside cafe today, but I guess we'll have to change the venue.
Peg, hope you made it home all right. Joyce, I hope your dad continues to get better. Esther, glad you didn't have to buy a new tire! Enjoy your toaster, Lynn!
Joan and Michelynn, hope to hear from you soon!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!!
We got ho e yesterday afternoon and I did have time to get the laundry all done as I'd hoped. We stopped at a dairy with a restaurant that we like for lunch....chili....and shared butter pecan ice cream. It is absolutely the best and probably 6000 calories in a scoop.
Today we are off to see the cancer specialist in Indianapolis for my 9 month check. I am not expecting any surprises but still a little apprehensive.
We did talk with our kids about our house plans and did send a couple of emails relating to it. We hope to decide on a lot this week and then proceed with house plans.
Hi to all and I too am missing Michelynn and Joan.

Good morning everyone!
We had rain overnight (which we badly needed), but the sun is out this morning. Taking my dad to his cardiologist at the heart institute today, and yesterday they gave us an expected release from rehab date for him of Saturday!!! Yay! That was really encouraging to us all.
Woke up this morning to find that our favorite place for a short "get away", Gatlinburg, is on fire. The whole area is evacuated and several things have already burned. That was something we accepted as a part of life when we lived in CA, but certainly not something we expect here in TN. It is so dry!
My mom has PT this morning, so this will be a busy day. Wishing each of you a wonderful day!

Good morning friends. Peg, glad that you were able to get the laundry all done. It is the first thing I start when we return from a trip. Positive vibes going out for your check up. Joyce, it sounds like a busy but productive day for you. And good news on your dad's release from rehab. The drought has hit the eastern part of the country so badly. It is heartbreaking to hear of the fires. Maryenne, enjoy your lunch. The change of venue will be good in that it means you finally have some rain. We have had rain for the last few days, which we need. We return to RI later today to a couple of days of rain there. There is often a wide difference in the weather in the mountains and that by the shore. But apparently this rain weather pattern is very wide. We did get the toaster yesterday. We had a good shopping trip! We also used the rainy days to get all our Christmas cards written and mailed! Have a great day! Waving to Esther and Janice, missing hearing from Joan and Michelynn. Lynn
