Good morning all,
I woke up at 5:30 to find DH in the living room watching tv. So we sat on the porch for a few minutes with coffee and a cool breeze. Talk about precious moments!
Nothing much to report. We had a little rain yesterday and are expecting much more today. This is a good thing. I do hope they are getting some relief up in Gatlinburg and Sevierville.

Good Morning
In the 30's this morning and going to stay cold all day. There is a hint of snow in the forecast by the weekend. Nothing major though.
Will have to leave work today for a garage door repair job - they are to call me when they are ready to head to my house and I will leave work then. Thinking the door opener has died.
Work will be very busy as we approach the end of the year. Several accounts that need to be closed out so they don't go into the next tax year and need to set up some files for next year. Well, I would rather be busy than not, but makes for some tired evenings!

Maryenne, coffee with DH sounds like a great way to start the day. Hope it will lead to a positive day at work too.
Janice, it sounds like your job will be busy throughout Dec.
As for me the dr appt yesterday it was about what I figured but he does think it is time to start a pill a day to keep the myeloma at bay. I knew I would probably take one but didn't know exactly when. I can handle it......hope the $$ isn't outrageous My local dr will prescribe and monitor it. I see the specialist again in March.
This morning I am off for my final check with the gall bladder surgeon and then I have a haircut. Yes, my hair is actually long enough that the cut will be obvious. It is still sooooo curly and tons thicker than it was. The top still needs to just grow while the back and sides are in need of some serious cutting. In between the two appts. I am going to do some Christmas shopping. I've used the web to do comparison shopping so I have a list and coupons.
This afternoon I'm hoping we can go walk our lot options to help us make a decision by Friday.
Joyce, glad to hear about your dad being able to return home!! 🤗

I am taking BFF for her second cataract surgery this morning. I may pop over to the nearby mall to get a couple of Christmas gifts for DH. He is difficult to get things for but he told me about some specific things he wants from Sears. There is a Sears at the mall. I can also get some walking in. It is raining and a bit chilly but no snow in the forecast.
All my village components are upstairs, along with my Christmas trees, a table top pre-lit and the ceramic one my mother made years ago. I will start setting up later today. We leave for a few days on Cape Cod tomorrow, so the rest will wait. I ordered a couple of wreaths from my grandsons' scout troop and they should be ready for pick up tonight.
