ASL - i was in Shoprite last night and they had a million different protein drinks but not Premier Protein?!?! And this is a gigantic Shoprite! I know Costco carries them, but I'm assuming it's a package of a 1000 drinks (okay, not really that many...) and I kinda just want to try a few to see if I like them. Where else can you get them for a decent price? And good luck at WI!

Two small things -
Yesterday, for the first time since I started the plan (3+ weeks ago!) I actually finished a day without using all my daily points. It's a small victory, but I'm proud nonetheless.
Also, for those of you using the WW app on your phone - did you realize you can just scan UPC labels and it will automatically retrieve the food item from the database? I had no idea! But, wow it sure makes it easier to add foods that come in packages. It's that little thing in the upper right corner that looks (ironically) like a barcode. I clicked it by accident the other night, thank goodness.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

bigtotoro Congratulations on your NSV, (Non-Scale Victory)! Celebrate each step towards a healthy you. You want to make sure you are eating all your daily points or at least coming very close to your daily. I totally shop by my scanner! I also use it where I can to input food into my tracker but just pay attention because sometimes people input new product information and they don't put it in correctly which can result in wrong calculations.

Hi. I stopped in mainly to see which protein drinks ASL likes. I was standing in Walmart and couldn't remember! It didn't occur to me to pull up the thread on my phone. Now I've found it so I can pick some up tomorrow. I have a few road trips coming up - to one of our other work locations that is two hours away (each way). I have to make the trip four times over two weeks. This only happens each spring but I'm bad about snacking in the car. I'm going to try these drinks this week. I was down .4 Wednesday which is a struggle for me because it hardly seems worth it. But I'm trying to keep my head in the game. I like salty snacks so for small point snacks, I like turkey pepperoni, pickles, pretzels, etc. Or bell pepper and hummus.

sheila Sometimes keeping our head in the game is tough but try to remember this is a marathon and not a sprint. You lost what I gained this week but I notice some weeks I'm up, some weeks I'm down and other weeks I maintain but in the end, overall, I'm down. Keep your chin up * know that you can do this! The protein drinks I like is called Premier Protein Drinks & I usually will get them at Walmart, Costco or Sam's Club.

Happy Monday!
Did anyone watch the Super Bowl game last night? What an epic and unprecedented turnaround! The halftime show was amazing too!
I'm back home for this week and will not need to worry about lunch for my DH because he is conducting a training class so I have more freedom with my scheduling since I don't need to schedule around his lunch schedule. My goals this week is to get to the stores to restock my kitchen, do some cooking prep and planning, go for daily walks, go through more of my wardrobe boxes, submit my resume to apply for a job with WW and find a class at the Y that I haven't tried yet but want to try. Oh yeah, I might try to schedule a massage if I can fit it in. lol
This past weekend I went to see the show Riverdance with my mom. The show was AMAZING!!!!!

What an insane game last night! The only good thing about the Patriots winning is that, as a die-hard Giants fan, we get to keep the "we're the only ones who can beat them" bragging rights ;-)
I need to drink a lot of water this week, I think. I'm up 2.6 since Saturday! I had Chinese food Saturday night for my MIL's birthday and then the leftovers yesterday. I'm going with the whole water weight thing... I'm hoping I can get back down and have at least a small loss this week! At least I have until Saturday.
I'm really excited for my dinner tonight. We're making a pork loin, apples, and butternut squash thing in the crockpot! I need to get back on track after this weekend!

Yesterday I took a Hydroburn class which I thought was "OK" but not challenging enough although it did get me off my butt & moving! This morning I took a Spin101 class then followed it up with a Zumba class. I'm trying new things in hopes to help me get to goal. I am still nursing a foot injury so I am trying to take things easy too but I feel like I need to start exercising since I only have about 25-30 lbs left to get rid of. I also stopped to pick up more fruit & veggies on my way home :-) pinotgrigio I'm with you & need to drink more water! The say we should drink 1/2 of our body weight but in ounces daily. So if I weigh 200 lbs, that means I should drink 100 oz of water daily.

Hi all, I am down 1 this week. We were in NOLA all weekend so it is a miracle. I am going to try and be really good this week in order to counteract any residual effects! Do you guys use connect regularly? I like for some recipe ideas and before and after pics. I know it is all positive over there so I really have to bite my tongue when I see stupid stuff posted. I guess that is what the GDT is for 😜

Hello, I just re-joined WW (again) after trying many other programs on my own, with little to no success. I signed up this afternoon and will start tracking tomorrow. I'm excited to eat some fruit again after eliminating it on my low carb experiment.

I'm excited to eat some fruit again after eliminating it on my low carb experiment. Welcome! We're here for you and are sure you can do this! Once you get on Connect, please let us know your screen name and feel free to follow me at aslintrprtr. I mostly post pictures of low point foods with a few other things mixed in. lol. I've rid myself of over 105 lbs and also have a blog that I am working on that has some resources (mostly free online cookbooks that have point values listed). My blog is....... journeytoahealthylifefollowingweightwatchers.wordpress.com Your WW app is great for digital tracking, looking up foods including major food chains, figuring out the most bang for the points allowed, Connect (very positive environment but not totally user friendly) and then the 24/7 chat which is a great feature. The recipe builder is in their app too. If you need any help with any of this, please let us know.

bumblebuzz21 I was born in NOLA and still have family there. The food there is AMAZING and OMG that is the ONE PLACE I don't know if I could "work the program" in that environment! I'm sure it would be different if I was living there but just going for a visit would set me into a MAJOR gain of weight!!!!! pinotgrigio (Beignets, Gumbo, King Cake, Creole, Jambalaya, Red Beans & Rice, & even the Tex-Mex found there......OMG!!!!) I probably just gained 5 lbs from my brain remembering these tasty but fattening treats. barefootn101 Miss ya girl! Where have you been hiding? What's going on? Email me if need be! You've got my email. sheila Did you find those protein drinks? What did you think of them? Sometimes you can find online coupons for them. Infant, the site someone mentioned yesterday on FB was redplum.com and a $3 off coupon was there for the 4 pack from Walmart. bigtotoro Are you having fun with the newly found scanner feature? @mountainmolehill Did you ever find some low point snacks that are working for you?

ASL, I did find the protein drinks. They are good for a low point quick option, particularly in the car. I weigh in around noon today. I live in the New Orleans area and right now have been steadily avoiding king cake. But there are only a couple of weeks left and I will end up buying one this weekend for the kids. I'm going to try not to eat too much of it!

On the positive side with being in NOLA, you can get unlimited fresh shrimp & crawfish (both are so low in points). I love Haydel's Bakery & Sals! I hold great memories from there. I hope to be making a trip to NOLA sometime during 2017 for some genealogy research with my family.

Good morning! We got home from sunny Florida last night. We had a blast! I was hoping to bring the warmth home with us, but no luck! Lots of laundry and grocery shopping are on the agenda for today!

We're snowed in today. Working from home with 2 little kids is not easy! So far I've managed not to eat to cope, but I may give in to a glass of wine later ;-)
I tried the S'mores Halo Top last night... OMG it was amazing! Shoprite had it on sale last week for $2.88 so I bought a whole bunch of flavors. If I don't give in to the wine later, I may finish off my pint!
