BARB-congrats, that's so exciting. have a fun time watching commercials. Not only am I going to watch the commercials but looking forward to the actresses from Hamilton singing America! sort of gray here too BETH-hope DH is better. MY DH is sick again too. Had fever this morning but it broke so hoping the antibiotics are taking effect. Back to laundry. but I did do the treadmill. Friend was supposed to come over to do harp but we'll postpone till he feels better. Will postpone yoga to end of week as well. LIBBY-hope you enjoyed the hike. how is the tennis elbow?? I found when I had that just walking made my arm hurt. Thought that was odd so asked the PT and he said to keep my hand in a pocket, just the gravity would irritate it (or maybe it was the rotator cuff) anyway. i used to keep my hand in my pocket on the treadmill until it felt better. AMY-hope you had a good lesson. Glad you liked the WW meeting. did you learn anything new? DUTCH-are you going on vacation? CATHY-did you start a new watercolor or your brother's painting?
waving to all. HAGD

Yesterday watched a couple of nice bay horses rode by our condo on the trail. No long winter hair here!! Made me want to go rent a horse and go on a lead trail ride lol - I might do it! also saw the most in creditable sight, there are hills all around us in the desert with lots of rock out hanging. Heard a pack of coyotes yelping and barking around 3 in the afternoon. Looked out and about 300 ft away on the rocks were 2 big coyotes, howling and making a fuss. I have never seen this in the wild before....... a little unnerving as about 5 hours earlier I took Dakota and went for an hour 1/2 hike-we went right under where they were on the way back. We hiked up on the ridge, going up was pretty easy- I paced myself, coming down was tough, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The great thing is no foot pain at all Love my new cross trainers and the orthotics!! Sunny and 75 degrees today - it"s snowing at home...... HAGD everyone!!

Hi All,
Beth and Faye, I hope the DH's get better soon.
Libby- I hope the tennis elbow calms down. Have you ever used one of those thin bands you can wrap around your arm? I got one at the drug store last year and it seemed to help. Go ride the horse!
I thought Lady Gaga did a good job and she obviously does not have a fear of heights! The drone lights were very cool. I didn't understand how they were doing the lights in the sky at first.
DH and I have a tradition of eating snacks as dinner for the Super Bowl but I was able to keep within points using shrimp cocktail, chicken meatballs, baked chips etc. DH really liked the meatballs.
Faye- the special WW meeting was very good, I learned a lot more about the app and things I will use
Barb- congrats on your glass art being featured!
Cathy- Did you end up going to the brush demonstration?
Had a good lesson. Was complimented on my canter departures which are going very well even from the trot. If you remember when I first bought him I could not get him to canter from the trot. Things to work on more this week is my sitting trot (ugh) and the ongoing "head set" project. I enjoyed jumping him in my lesson. My trainer gave me a change in jump course and I said "OK" and then rode the course I had just completed. Oops! I thought I did it rather well but then remembered after the last jump that I was "off course". LOL. My trainer... "OK now lets do the course I gave you".
My friend at the barn, Karen, who also does not go to FL and who just turned 68 takes her lesson after mine. She goes over small jumps and is doing so well. She does not have an easy horse. I hope I am still riding at 68.
The schedule at the office looked light so I am home this morning but know I might be called in if there are pain patients who call in for a spot. Not an unusual occurrence on a Monday. I am happy to get some home projects done.
HAGD Amy
